Just because her son was born in Ennis doesn't mean Mary Bridget O'Connor was also born there (or even in County Clare).
To figure out Mary Bridget's age start with her death (if in England may even give date of birth depending on when she died).
Have you tried searching for the family in 1939 Register in England? If they are there it will give exact dates of birth for parents and possibly son (if his death has been matched with the record- only people born more than 100 years ago or matched as deceased will be available to view). We aren't allowed to ask for 1939 Register lookups but Ancestry and Find My past should both have it.

I appreciate what you are saying and realise she may not have been born there. Sadly I cannot find her death in England and have tried the 1939 census with no results. The only document I have at this time is a passport in the name of her son, Micheal John Carter, born in Ennis.
I know the names of his parents and that they returned to the London area but have no knowledge of dates.
I  will continue to dig for family details. Thank you.

Are you sure Mary Bridget was O'Connor?

There is an 1933 marriage in Camberwell, London Q4 V1d P1563
It is between a Charles H CARTER and a Mary B O'CONNELL

It could be one to follow up on, if only to exclude
Kearney & Bourke/ Johns & Fox/ Mannion & Finan/ Donohoe & Curley
Byrne [Carthy], Keeffe/ Germaine, Butler/ McDermott, Giblin/ Lally, Dolan
Toole, Doran; Dowling, Grogan/ Reilly, Burke; Warren, Kidd [Lawless]/ Smith, Scally; Mangan, Rodgers/ Fahy, Calday; Staunton, Miller
Further generations:
Brophy Coleman Eathorn(e) Fahy Fitzpatrick Geraghty Haverty Keane Keogh Nowlan Rowe Walder

You are a star. I could have been fed a red herring with O'Connor and will definitely follow up this lead. Thank you.

There's a death for a Mary Bridget Carter in 1985 Waltham, England district which gives birthdate of 6 May 1911
https://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/search.pl

Possible match in Irish records-
Mary Bridget O'Connell born 6 May 1911 at 4 Rutland St., Limerick, parents John O'Connell (tailor) & Mary Josephine Sheehan-

Son Michael Edward born 1912-

The 1933 marriage should list her father's name & occupation.
