Clara Crane, 15, a servant, was sent to prison (3 wks)  & reformatory (3 yrs) by Hammersmith Police Court on 8 March 1881 for stealing from her employer Jane Elizabeth Clark.

Alfred Crawford Crane died aged 28 on 30 October 1862 from dysentery.

He was buried 31 October 1862 at Kandalla, India.  Occupation: Conductor, P.W.D.

Sarah Anne Crane, widow of Sergeant Alfred Crane,  was awarded a widow's pension from the Lord Clive fund from 1 August 1871. Aged 35, born Chatham, resident at 40 Winstanley Road, Clapham.
