Marriage of JOHN CARTER and MARY OCONNOR   is the nearest I can see....

The earliest record I have for Ann and John is the electoral list (as explained in OP) from 1950's and they lived at st Ann's Road... I found my grandfather's birth registration in 1923 with her maiden name but that's all...

Born in what country?? ?? ??

You need to tell us more precise details. Where was you grandfather born in England?

What's with the aggressive approach? I don't know much... He was born in Hammersmith but I don't know where his father was born.

You have your  grandfather's birth registration in 1923...   was it in Antigua and Barbuda by any chance?

We are not being aggressive. We are all trying to help but in order to do so we need you to answer the questions we asked (if's okay to say if you don't know the answer to a question but at least acknowledge it).

There are still lots of questions you haven't responded to.

A John P. Carter (mother O'Connor) birth registered in 1923 Hammersmith district, There's also a possible sister Daisy M (1920)- for earlier births we need to do more involved searches. Once we can get back to early 1900s it should, in theory, be easier to find details.

However, I don't think you've actually mentioned your grandfather's name  :-\
