1926 Kerry News
Catherine Clifford sued to recover a farm from William Hobart Shantallive Castlegregory.
Catherine claimed she sold the farm to William on 20 Dec 1925 for £240 plus fees with a £50 deposit.
When the time came to close the sale William didn't pay the £125 owed claiming they had agreed to a yearly payment of £12 10s.
The judge dismissed the case instructed the yearly payment should be included in the terms of the sale.

Is it the same William?

Thank you again, I think it might be the right William as I think Bridget's family were farmers.
