Thanks received both.   Interesting isn't it though, he is a Butcher, then he is a Carpenter.
I know that plenty of my other family members who were Carpenters in England, made their occupation Farmers, when they came to Australia around 1912 onwards.
Depended on the need for workers in the country at that particular time.   So I guess that is not unusual that Harry Goddard did that, but definitely the same person on each occasion.
He came from a family of Butchers in Reading, aged 19 years.   jan

Good afternoon again,
Thanks so much for all your help, been an amazing journey with this family, but now I need some help once again, if anyone can be patient enough with me please.   We have another relation to add to our family.
Harry Goddard (Henry) was in Vancouver for approximately 12 months before he sailed back to England.
Have a large DNA match with a person who lives in Canada, saying that the Father came from Berkshire and the mother from Canada.   Now thinking that maybe Harry Goddard fathered a child sometime between 1926 and 1927 before he returned to the UK.
Wondering if there are any census records during those 2 years available in Canada.
