Good Morning to you all from Edinburgh.

I am sitting here in tears at what you have found out for us about our family who came over to New Zealand.

Starting with Mary Troup - I had taken a look at the will last night and decided it was definitely my Gt. Gt. Aunt. Went back on some records I had and the family originally went to Dunedin and then my Gt. Aunt and her family settled in Auckland. So Mary must have decided to stay in Dunedin for some reason. Mary was actually born in County Antrim, Ireland around 1861 although no birth record has been found for her. They were in Dundee by the 1871 census. Her parents are buried in Dundee and I have visited their grave. The lady who is my avator would have been her aunt by marriage. My gt. grandfather Robert Small was Mary's older brother.

Thank you all so much and I am away to have a look now at the other information you have given me and get back to you soon.
