I am researching Maud Parkin (later Brennan) born 1899 in Maryport, Cumberland. Any information would be gratefully received.

You need to tell us what you already have.
Then what records you still need.
Asking for "any " information tends to lead to a waste of efforts
All census look up transcriptions are Crown Copyright

I have most of the details such as census/birth/marriage etc. I am seeking information to try and find who the father of her child was - Reginald Parkin born 1920 Maryport, Cumberland. There was no name on the birth certificate.

Probably not as lot of chance of finding out without complex DNA stuff. Good luck.
Threlfall (Southport), Isherwood (lancs & Canada), Newbould + Topliss(Derby), Keating & Cummins (Ireland + lancs), Fisher, Strong& Casson (all Cumberland) & Downie & Bowie, Linlithgow area Scotland . Also interested in Leigh& Burrows,(Lancashire) Griffiths (Shropshire & lancs), Leaver (Lancs/Yorks) & Anderson(Cumberland and very elusive)
