After my mother died a few years ago we discovered she was born illegitimate, a secret she kept to the grave. Her mother was Frances Pullen, and her father Percy James Pringle who, I have found, was born in Slade Green, Erith, Kent, on 30dec1907. I have discovered he died 4 jul 1972 in Wimborne, Dorset.
Does anyone know any more about this guy, especially whether he married, and whether he had other children after my mother... FreeBMD has two Percy J Pringle marriages, one to Coote in Hastings Q3 1935 and another to Marshall in Brighton in Q4 1936. How do I find more about these marriages short of purchasing the cetificates...?
