Marriage of William Rudhall about 1770-75
« on: Monday 20 May 19 16:41 BST (UK) »
I cannot find a marriage of Willliam Rudhall and Sarah in about 1772 likely in Somerset.

They had a daughter Mary Rudhall whose Non-Conformist baptism recorded that she was illegitimate:

Mary Ruddall b 5 Jan 1772 Chelwood chr 21 Feb 1772 Whitley Batch, (Independent) d/o William per Non-Conformist Baptisms National Archives ref. TNA/RG/4/4079

Note there are different ways of spelling Rudhall.  Buddall was transcribed in Buckinghamshire where Mary lived in Wraysbury for many years before her marriage in 1790.

Grateful if someone who has reference material which is not on Ancestry or FindmyPast can find the marriage.

William Rudhall and Sarah Shurvey were married by banns at St Mary Redcliffe, Bristol on 24 Jan 1773. Both described as "of this parish".

Taken from the Index to Bristol Marriages 1754-1812 published by the Bristol FHS. It doesn't include any other details.
