A john Wright married Elizabeth Grudgeons on 19th January 1800 in Enderby, which is only a few miles away.

They had a daughter, Ann, baptised there on 19th April 1800. I can't see a baptism for Elizabeth, although the name Grudgins have a few baptisms around the right period.

Hi
Have checked copy of  Braunstone PR and cannot see a baptism for John Wright in your time scale. Cannot see a marriage but have found baptism of William Gooddess Wright at Braunstone 17 Nov 1808 parents John & Elizabeth .
Have checked Leicester & Leicestershire Marriages cd and cannot see a marriage for John & Elizabeth

Ann Wright married William Norton in Braunstone on 19th November 1821.

She was living in Ruding Street, St Marys, Leicester, in 1851 and gave her birth place as Enderby.

She was baptised in Enderby in 1800 on either 12th or 19th April 1800. The image shows a 19 overwritten by a 12, or the otherway round.

A William Gooddess Wright was baptised there in 1808. The second 'o' was inserted as a correction.

Elizabeth Goode, born in Enderby in 1777, may be the mother. daughter of Richard Goode and Dorothy Blackwell. She married John Wright in Enderby in 1800 but the name written as Grudgeons.

Difficult to know if Grudgeons and Goode/Gooddess are variations of each other.
