There was a couple of people mentioned in the obituary for Hilda Ryan - a few details below in case you wish to investigate those further....................could we get back to Thomas Keating or Anna Garry from here  ???

First one was Robert Kenaan - Robert A Kenaan Snr -

Eleanor Scanlon Kenaan ( sister of Violet Scanlon Hubenthal - wife of Robert Anthony Kenaan)

The parents of these two sisters were John Scanlon and Violet Murphy. Parents of Violet Murphy were John Murphy and Ellen Heinz according to death cert.

Thomas and Anne Keating were living on Penn Avenue with Walter and Catherine Booth in 1900 (as mentioned earlier)

Looking at the death certificate for Elizabeth Murphy - single - aged 63 years - died 9 May 1936 Pittsburgh PA
parents were Timothy Murphy and Ellen Hines (attachment below) - Mrs John Scanlon (Must be Violet) was the informant - 5342 Kincaid Street Pittsburgh PA.

Also mentioned in the obituary for Elizabeth Murphy was another sister Margaret Gallagher.

Margaret A Gallagher - 2115 Liberty Avenue 10 March 1939 Pittsburgh PA. Margaret was widowed.
Burial St Marys Cemetery. Informant was M (?) Scanlon.  Parents Timothy Murphy and Ellen both born Ireland.

Just posting this - in case I lose it later  ::) There is a burial for Ellen Murphy born 1840 died 23 January 1895 - looks like Ellen was a widow who lived at 16 Eighteenth  but lived on on Penn Avenue as a previous residence. (looks positive)
