Mam and dads wedding 20th July 1946 in Horden, Durham
« on: Friday 24 May 19 11:02 BST (UK) »
Hi
Here is a photo of my mam and dads wedding. It was 20th July 1946 in Horden, Durham.
I don’t have the original photo as this was sent to me from a cousin. I have never seen this before. Unfortunately it is creased right across their faces I am not sure if you can help as it is a small image but even if it could be made clearer would be great. I am trying to work out the other faces around but it’s difficult. Any help would be gratefully received.

Hi Mercel,
Here is a fix from me. I increased the size and tried to clean it up as best as I could. I wish I could say I can fix blurry images but it is just not possible.  :( Hope my clean up helps in identifying the other people in your photo.

It's a shame you can't get a better image and it's always difficult when the crease goes right across the faces, but here's my try,

Hi Mercel,

It's a lovely photo but much more could be restored if you were able to get a better scan. Ask your cousin to try - ideally scanning as a colour photo at 300/600 dpi would enable restorers to do their magic.

Good luck.
