That is interesting , on his letter in August 1948 he mentions if money was not so tight they would love to travel to Europe . Maybe she went on her own then ?

Just found Wilbur on the same ship Zuiderkruis  3 July 1953 and 6 September on the Sibajak out of Rotterdam 6 September 1953

Wow , that is good .I remember my mum saying that now Bill had a wife and mum was married with me born it might not be a good idea to reply to that letter like he asked { Dad was probably jealous ! } I wonder what sights they saw , Rotterdam was a mess after the war and guess Europe in general was too in 1953 .

Hello Sandra , I see there are 3 entries for Bill and Betty { 2 for Betty , one for Bill } You mention their return from Rotterdam on the 1st October and also the 6th September , I wondered which one was correct ?

One entry for Betty was cancelled - but those dates were correct - Betty on the 1st October - Wilbur on the 6 th September - travelled separately.

Thanks Sandra , that seems a bit strange , maybe he had to get back for work .I found a photo of both ships so that was good .

Yes , that was exactly my first thoughts ! She was an artist so who knows she might have even got some work . I tried to find a grave for Wilbor but no such luck as yet .

Hello Sandra , I am finding conflicting dates of death for Harry Harnash , some saying 1976 some 1943 ? Could you shed any light on it please ?
