Amusing occupation on the 1911 census

Just found a wonderful entry on the 1911..... anyone like to hazard a guess at what this man really does, occupation transcribed as crurty conet cailiffs   ???   The image is clearer than you might imagine.

My guess  "county court bailiff"  (if there is such an occupation!)
