It does look like Little Yetton.
Perhaps a small hamlet that has been swallowed up by a larger town?
I am Australian, from all the lands I come (my ancestors, at least!)

Pine/Pyne, Dowdeswell, Kempster, Sando/Sandoe/Sandow, Nancarrow, Hounslow, Youatt, Richardson, Jarmyn, Oxlade, Coad, Kelsey, Crampton, Lindner, Pittaway, and too many others to name.
Devon, Dorset, Gloucs, Cornwall, Warwickshire, Bucks, Oxfordshire, Wilts, Germany, Sweden, and of course London, to name a few.

Hi,

Although it does look like Little Yetton, I wonder if it is actually, Little Hulton  :-\
I definitely think the last four letters of the second word are - ...lton
Looby :)

I don't think the first letter is an H though.

I am in NSW, Australia, and I am unsure of localities in Lancashire, but one of my ancestors migrated to New Zealand and then to NSW.  They were originally from Little Woolton, Lancs.  Here is a link to a webpage that may have other localities in Lancs for 'Little Xxxxlton' possibles...   I think the capital letter of the elusive word may actually be either a 'Y' or a 'G'.

Agreed - it doesn't really look like an H. It does look like a Y.

The place does look like little Yetton or Yelton.  :-\

Do you have this person on any other censuses and if so, what did they say about place of birth?

An extended image with more script to compare would be useful?

Yes. Either that or the OP might like to give us this person's name and these census details so we can have a look for ourselves.  :)
