This isn't the same entry, but second listing from the bottom of the image shows a distinct Yelton, Lancs.  No Little though, nor does it help locate it!

Hello everyone. Thanks for your responses. I tried to upload more of the image but the file size was too large.

the person in question is Mary. She married Roger Wood in 1814 as Mary Beckinson, Widow. Have been unable to find her first marriage or even the death of her first husband.

The 1851 census states her age as 60 and so birth year (approx) 1791.
Her death in 1854 in Wigan states her age as 66 and so birth year (approx) 1789.

No idea where to start looking Annie. 

Kirkheaton/Yetton/Heton/Hepstone fits but the census snip specified Yetton in Lancaster, whereas Kirkheaton is in W Yorkshire.

Of course it is possible that Lancaster was written in error ...

On the 1841 census was she in Lancashire? Does it say she was born in the county or not?

Thanks again everyone. I came across a 'Welton' in Lincolnshire. Doesn't seem a likely match though. Might have to put this one in the 'brick wall' pile!
