 :)

I bet she will come across well. It is often the ones one doesn't like who surprise us. (that's what I find anyway)  :)

I quite like that lineup (though I will have to google a couple of them).

Now I know I am past my sell by

in MY opinion --- that series ---- is not for me.

The only way I can watch that is to concentrate on the history of the families as if I had never heard of the people concerned... difficult but it is what I have to do with the American show.  ( I thought Sharon O was American!!!! .... ::) ::) ::))   and just discovered that Katherine whatever is canadian... thought it was a UK show this time...

I just received an email from FindMyPast offering a 30% discount off a 6 month membership to celebrate the new series of WDYTYA.

There was a Spoiler Alert and a little link - WDYTYA have "beaten the BBC to it" they proudly announce, and the link leads to a long article detailing Kate Winslet's family tree.

I've only had a glance so far - unsure if I will read it in it's entirety. It may give more details than WDYTYA as the programme obviously can only cover so much in the time they have on air.

I didn't know FindMyPast still did 6 month subscriptions. I haven't been able to get one recently. New members only?

Not sure if it is only for new members. I have dabbled in the past (I have never had an annual subscription) so am not exactly a new member.

I clicked on the link in the email and at it took me to this:

Seems a fine line-up apart from Katherine Ryan...

I found her irritatingly unfunny, there will be more soul in her deceased ancestors  ;D
