would anybody have any information on
john dolan born 1810 fermanagh  /died abt 1880 Enniskillen.
mary ann carey  born abt 1810 Ireland

sons felix born 1833 Enniskillen
      james born 1836 Enniskillen  died 1895 Brisbane Australia. there could be more children, not sure,

All these people were born well before the start of civil registration in Ireland. If they were Catholic- have you checked for R.C. parish registers?

I knew they born early of records but I thought there might someout there that could be a distant relative, the were r/c so will look in the records.

Could be mine but it seems a bit early I’m 90% sure I had a great/great great grandfather named John Dolan who may have been married to a Mary but I think we came from Galway in the early 1900’s. I just stumbled on this as my great uncle John Dolan died today.

There is another family of Dolan’s from the Belcoo area of Fermanagh.

Hello terrydolan,

be interesting if they are your relatives, the only one that i'am  sure of is the son james dolan, he is my great grandfather, on his death certicate and army records he was born inniskillen and parents john dolan and mary ann carey, found his brother felix on some other records (that's if they are corrected) I don't know if his parents are born in Enniskillen as well, as we know in the early days there was a lot of moving around following the farm work.
