Births of Ann Mary Graham and John maguire
« on: Wednesday 29 May 19 05:47 BST (UK) »
I have traced these two as far as a marriage in fylde in Dec quarter of 1880, in the 1901 census John is stated as 45 and Ann 40, and both born in Ireland so would be about 1856 and 1861. It's a long shot but has anyone come across a possible match. A few of their children's baptisms are recorded in Latin so they are possibly Catholic and my nan often referred to a connection to derry.

Ahh Just they would help in a search when it seems to be as wide as yours

As they married in 1880 are they on the 1880 or 1890 census anywhere or the 1911 in case there is more information shown?

Are they the family shown at Ince in 1901 with 9 children between the ages of 18 and 3m?

Just seen them on 1901 census, in Ince with isabella, james, john, josephine, clara, peter, diane, Joseph and laura, children, two older girls Margaret Mary and Elizabeth ann, not with them at this point but not yet married, perhaps domestics.

Next census suggests Ann was born, as transcribed, in Fermaugh County, so possibly County Fermanagh and birthplace code 635 would agree this. John in Killasea County, which I'm not sure what it's meant to be. Birthplace code 602 matches Kildare though.

Thank you for that. It seems they met in Fleetwood then.

As said, code 602 has been entered, so person entering must have thought it was Kildare. Even looking at original myself, I'm not 100% sure what it says.
