William Innes & Elspet Innes ane sonne named Johnne.  Bap be yee
said maister Andrew Johnne Leslie (bailzei?) David Sinckler Johnne (Straqn?)
Johnne Anderson and (Jn G Innes?) god faithers

The word after Leslie is bailzei = baillie.

Straqn is an abbreviated form of Straquhan or Strachan as it is nowadays.

The final surname may be Dinnes.

June 26, 1642
William Innes and Elspet Innes had a son named Johnne, baptised by Mister Andrew Johnne Leslie ( Baillie ).
David Sinclair ( Snickler ), Johnne Straquhan, Johnne Anderson and Jn. G. Innes ( Junior George Innes )Godfathers

We should look at Caithness

The last godfather is not an Innes. It is John Dinnes.

Sinclairs are not only found in Caithness. The family was established in the south of Scotland long before a branch received land in Caithness.

David Sinclair lived in Aberdeen. Spalding refers to a dinner at his house there.
