Finding The Connolly family manchester Dublin Lancashire 1964-?
« on: Thursday 30 May 19 14:46 BST (UK) »
My name is James Michael Connolly .I was born 9-29-64 in Manchester or Lancashire and adopted and taken to Toronto, Canada. I see on here there is quite an interest in my family from Manchester. I have done a DNA test and have Manchester and Dublin parents or Grandparents. I am sure i have family still in this region which would be descendants of Dublin,Manchester and Lancashire. i was wondering if anyone out there would be able to show me the steps in finding members of my family born after 1964 as my mother was so young I am sure she had other children after me.

Hi

[ Amended ]

Welcome to Rootschat.

Rootschat has a policy of not openly discussing living persons.

However that does not stop you getting help and keeping discussions going on, behind the scenes,
out of the public gaze.

You would firstly have to open up the personal message system and to do that you must have a post count of 3 2 .
Once opened up then you can reply to any member who may contact you to offer help.Just post a couple of times ( say "thanks" would be an obvious start )  :)

 Good Luck
Ray

So that spelling is consistent, why not correct the spelling of your name in the title of your thread?
Just over-type it.

I was born 9-29-64 in Manchester or Lancashire
I assume that means 29th September 1964. It's a different way round to how it would be in Britain. Best to name the month and century to avoid confusion.
