Dr Alfred Ross Dalriada School Ballymoney
« on: Friday 31 May 19 10:39 BST (UK) »
Hello
Dr Alfred Ross was born in Belfast but served as  headmaster of Ballymoney school and latter Dalriada School from 1931--1948.
I think he died either 1948 or 1949 in Ballymoney Northern Ireland .When i googled him i realised
There is a Obituary for him with the British Newspaper Archive --Northern Wig . But I am dong something wrong as i am unable to find it.
Hoping someone might have more success and wouldn't mind  me what it says. Any other information about him would be great.
Very many Thanks

Obituary mentions brothers John and James, so the Eia Street, Clifton census would be a better fit.

He was survived by his wife and two children.

Possibly the:

Eileen Steele who married Alfred Ross on 7th September 1934 in Belfast district.

Certificate transcript can be purchased at a small cost from GRONI.

So potentially this Eileen Mary Steele:

He was survived by his wife and two children.

If that is the case, then this is likely his birth. #409
