William George Allott

I'm trying to find out more about William George Allott who was born in Hull in 1830 and became a Master Iron Founder.  I know his dates and have him on the 1881 census and 1892 directory employing 5 men on English St.  I know that he entered the Charterhouse in 1908.  A search hasn't thrown up much else, except for an entry in the London Gazette which I can't access.  I'd love to find out more detail about the man.
Godden in East Sussex, mainly Hastings area.

It would appear that William George Allott was involved with a number of partnerships as per newspaper reports.
