1939 Register COMPLETED
« on: Saturday 01 June 19 16:49 BST (UK) »
Please confirm that I am not totally losing the plot  :o

Matilda Porter, born 1886 and living in Bolton:

FindMyPast image and transcription differ somewhat, in that she is on the transcription but not on the image (husband is Ralph)  :o

Transcription says that she is part of the household, image denies that.  Plus it is a different daughter in transcription versus image!!

Ermmm  :-\
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

You are not losing the plot.   ;D

It is those wobbly blackout lines that waver between peoples entries.  I reported one like that the other week, I can't remember who it was to check whether they did anything about it.

Rosie99 beat me to it, I think it is Iris born 1920 who was meant to be redacted.

I've had a response from FindMyPast who have promised to correct the entry within 48 hours.  :)

ADDED:  And the correction has been completed - well done FindMyPast  ;D
