They don’t seem to be straightforward - maybe not in order so it is difficult.
Other children are just named without dates in the index

Proably all have been found anyway as their first child was Catherine........
Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to research, and you feed him for a lifetime.

Yes, probably.
The ones found were after Kate/Catherine but I just wondered if that was certain.

The marriage is probably in the bride's parish and it's possible they could have come from outside the city, I was trying to narrow down the search using the very limited free search on Roots Ireland but they only have Cork North (Mallow heritage )and West (Skibbereen heritage) and there was two many results of each name to make any progress.

Thank you all for your replys, Catherine was the first child that I know of ,just so frustrating as I've really hit a brick wall with these two,I know Timothy was a cattle dealer and there was a newspaper article which he featured in and his brother was mentioned but they didn't give his name,I have been searching for over 2 years to find the marriage.

There is a Daniel Hartnett as sponsor to Kate in 1851.

Maybe a relative?
