Welcome to RootsChat. A moderator will probably move your post to the United States board where it will receive more attention. Unfortunately, your relative arrived in North America at a bad time. The 1890 US census was almost entirely destroyed by fire so there are no national records until the 1900 census by which time Molly was probably married and using a different name. I will have a look to see what I can find. Were there other family members in Iowa?
