Perhaps he had another marriage too, as I see no Pitkin Lomax marriage?

There is a Henry Latour Lomax in the NZ police gazette 1921, failing to maintain.

Well, thank you for that AVM. I think that’s satisfied my curiosity.  ;D


But I’ve just found a tree on Ancestry with more info. There are “wives”, aliases,  and children all over the place! (They don’t have these English ones though.)

It is interesting, Diana is in the 1939 twice, 
One at a school, the one I found, and once with her mother, the one you found,
The school one has her first marriage, but not the second, the other has both.
