« on: Monday 03 June 19 17:09 BST (UK) »
I am trying to find the grave of my great grandfather Charles Henry Harrison.
He was born in Bradford,Yorkshire on 8th October 1873.He passed away on 3rd November 1945 in Bierton,Buckinghamshire. Also the grave of his wife Annice Anne Riley 9/1/1872 from Briefield Lancashire and she passed away 1st February 1918 in Aylesbury Buckinghamshire.
They lived in Madley Road Aylesbury and he worked for a local paper The Bucks Herald, any information would be greatly appreciated.

Since he worked for a newspaper, id suggest trying to find a mention of his death and where the burial (if any) took place.

Other sources would be the national burial index,  and find a grave

Info from Bucks Herald 09 November 1945 funeral notice says that the service was at the Parish Church Bierton, and that he was cremated following that, at Golders Green.

Why would he have been cremated in Golders Green I cannot find any connection with the area,is there a possibility he was Jewish?

Maybe it was the nearest to Aylesbury at the time.

ADDED There only appear to be a couple in Buckinghamshire now, Amersham & Milton Keynes.  The Chilterns Crem in Amersham opened in 1996, I think the one in M.K. is newer.  The first custom built crematorium in England was at Woking, Surrey and that opened in 1878
