Hi,

Obituary for Edith MacKenzie McBurney in the Globe and Mail March 3 1982.  It says she died on Feb 27 1982.  Wife of the late George McBurney.  Daughter of Eva and the late John MacKenzie.  Mother of D and D.  Mother in law of L.  Sister of Leslie and D MacKenzie.   Grandsons J and S.  Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

Obit for George McBurney says that he was the president of George W McBurney Sales Ltd.  Member of Mizpah Lodge No 572.  He died suddenly at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay Ontario on August 14 1972.  Husband of Edith MacKenzie.  Father of D and D.  Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

Toronto Star and Globe and Mail papers - Aug 15, 16, 17.

Found an ad for George W McBurney sales - they were based out of Toronto (Leaside area).   THe company seems to have continued on after George died...still based out of Leaside.
