Henry Dennis - Bray Berkshire

Hi All
Henry DENNIS said to have been born in Bray Berkshire in 1830 or 1832.  Many gaol records of him (starting in 1848 when he said he was 16 yo) before he was transported to Australia in 1856 on the ship William Hammond. Any help tracing his birth records or parents names would be much appreciated.

The only birth I can see around that time is...

Henry Dennis. 14 Oct 1828, Clewer, Berkshire. Parents  Henry and Mary.

Clewer is about 4 miles from Bray.

Goodness, that was quick.  Thank you for taking the trouble to look it up for me.  Two of his daughters had Mary as a middle name so it's a possibility that this is the right person (and thanks for telling me how far apart the two places are)

Yes, that's him. Sometimes Henry Dennis sometimes known as Henry James Dennis.  Seven years transportation to Australia.  Never did find out what "curtilage breaking" is.  Anyone know?

Curtilage meaning:

an area of land attached to a house and forming one enclosure with it.

So possibly he entered the land enclosure and then stole something that was in the enclosed land as opposed to entering the property within the land enclosure.

solidrock - it looks like Henry Dennis and Mary Massey weren't my Henry Dennis' parents (if we follow the finding of rosie99).
