1648 marriage entry
« on: Saturday 08 June 19 14:14 BST (UK) »
Hello, can anyone read/translate the additional text after my ancestors' marriage - it's the fourth one down - Thomas Bower and Penelope.

Many thanks
Thorpe, Feak & Townsend (Norfolk) / Ormandy & Slater (Dalton-in-Furness) / Corner (Liverpool) / Wray (Lincolnshire) / Fidler, Bridge & Turner (Derbyshire)

ambo de hac p[ar]och[ia] nupt

meaning 'both of this parish were married'. Pity we don't get the bride's surname.
Researching among others:
Bartle, Bilton, Bingley, Campbell, Craven, Emmott, Harcourt, Hirst, Kellet(t), Kennedy,
Meaburn, Mennile/Meynell, Metcalf(e), Palliser, Robinson, Rutter, Shipley, Stow, Wilkinson

Thank you. I'm embarrassed that it was so obvious - because this register is not verbose, I wondered if it was an unusual remark.

Hopefully Penelope's family will be revealed through wills!

If you don't know Latin it won't be obvious! And those of us who do know it are happy to help.
