The J.S that died in 2017 was apparently age 90 though the person registering her death could have her age wrong.  As she has been 'uncovered' on the 1939 register we can only assume that she has died as there are some records uncovered in error.

That June appears on electoral registers in Oxford in the earlier 2000's

Sorry for so many questions Rosie & Igor as I am quite new to tree building etc but if your record is uncovered/viewable on 1939 list, is the probility that you are deceased quite high (errors not withstanding)

It's difficult to guess whether someone viewable on the 1939 is still alive or not - I have just now been told that someone I've found today in another query here on Rootschat, who was born 1932 and showing on the 1939 is still living.

I've had a quick look for a June Short with birth details as shown on the 1939 within the Ancestry death listings and cannot find an exact match.

There is also the possibility that her husband died and she married again and therefore will have yet another name!
