1871 census

Any help would be appreciated in finding a family living in the All Saints area of West Bromwich,
James and Lucy Barton and a son Albert aged about 9 at the time. They appear not to want to be found !  Many thanks.

Lucy appears to be with her mother, Mary Ann Skelton, in Walsall.

Was Lucy's maiden name Skelton?

1871 - RG10/2962 folio 34 page 14

Lucy Barton (aged 33, married and born West Bromwich) and a son, Samuel H aged 4 living with Mary Ann Skelton in Walsall.  Possible sister, Caroline Fisher, also in the household.

GRO give mmn for Samuel Henry Barton, born 1867 as Skelton.  Albert William Barton born 1862 also has mmn as Skelton.

There is a tree on Ancestry, which shows Albert William as William Barton aged 9 - scholar - living with his grandfather William Barton, in West Bromwich - RG10/2978 folio 25 page 4.

No sign of father, James.
