Creggy carlanstown finea castlepollard
« on: Monday 10 June 19 15:10 BST (UK) »
I'm trying to trace a baptism and a death for my great grand father. His name was Michael Creggy born about 1800 in carlanstown finea castlepollard Co Westmeath. He was on Griffiths valuation bur no trace of him after that he married a clavin in 1833. Any help I would appreciate  it or advice on next steps I checked church records no sign of a Micheal creggy baptism

You could try https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/civil-search.jsp  for Death

tick Death box and put a cut off year in second year range, they start 1864 but just put 1900 or something in second year range box

Adjust search as needed Marriages etc
Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to research, and you feed him for a lifetime.

Even just putting Surname in and Searching his Death doesn't show

He seems to have passed before 1864
