Ancestry - Irish church records
« on: Thursday 13 June 19 19:30 BST (UK) »
Hi just wondered if anyone else has come up against this situation. There is a record on ancestry that has turned up via a hint. I look at the Irish church record and all the location says is Ireland. How do you find out which parish book, this one scanned page came from?
Keenan (Co. Antrim Ireland - Scotland)
McCart (Co. Antrim Ireland - Scotland)
McMullan (Ballymoney Co. Antrim)
Westwood (Kingswinford)
Bray (Colwell, Herefordshire)
Stanley (London)
Moss-Smith (Altrincham and surrounds)

Can you see the image of the page, if so are there any townland names on it?

No townlands unfortunately to identify the area. That’s why I’m stumped.

Why not give the names, dates and anything else so that other people can look for it.

I don't have an ancestry sub so I have no idea what it's like when viewing an image. Is there no way to look at other pages? If you could get to the start the parish name is written on each book.
Is the record before or after 1864? If after it may be in the civil registration.

Good chance it might be on familysearch..

Have you tried just putting name and year in and Searching?
