All your hard work Sandra,  I have deleted the Horton family from my tree.  Would it be worth while you leaving the Horton family on which could be of help to some other member?

Oh well...that happens to everyone!!  We all have lines that we thought were right, but later found out weren't ours.   :) :).   I will stop searching for Hortons now.

Thanks for pointing that out Sandra. :)

Don't worry Helina.  It will be left on here. We cannot delete.  Hopefully it may help some one else researching the Horton family as you said.

Hope the other snippets are helpful to you.

I have now another problem with the Brokenbrow family.   Jane Nellie marries Harold O Tucker in 1918 Bristol.  In 1938 Jane marries John Courtney, mind you FreeBMD have John down as Jean!!..Sure that marriage is correct as on the 1939 census Jane's mother Marian is living with them.

But can I find a death for Harold,no. There is a death in 1970 for a Harold Oswald Tucker b 16th Nov 1895 5f 2282 so maybe they divorced?

Sandra and RunKitty.  You will be pleased to hear your hard work is not wasted.  Researching another branch of the Brokenbrow family and guess what James's brother William born 1859 had a daughter called Jane born 1882 Bristol, married to Edward Horton in 1901. Yes its the same family that went to Canada in 1920.  Really am pleased.
