Hi,
Ethel Helps, was she born in Wiltshire, in a place called Bradford in 1888 - 1891?
I have seen the ship record stating 1891 as her birth year.
Also seen other info with a birth year of 1888.
Maggsie

No
My Ethel was born in Truro, Cornwall in 1879. Her parents were  William James Helps & Sarah Elizabeth Cope
Wainwright - Yorkshire
Whitney - Herefordshire
Watson -  Northamptonshire
Trant - Yorkshire
Helps - all
Needham - Derbyshire
Waterhouse - Derbyshire
Northing - all

This is rather bizarre.... Findagrave has two entries for Eva and George.

Enlarged grave photo here:  https://images.findagrave.com/photos/2017/325/185375226_12777026-1947-49a8-b746-8990f6058643.jpeg

Main page here, saying they are buried in a different state:
https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/185375226/eva-m-helps

Mystery solved -- the burial ground is actually in the two different states:
"The main entrance to the cemetery is in Haverhill, Massachusetts, however the majority of the cemetery is over the border in Plaistow, New Hampshire."

So, as the photo is on the Massachusets entry and not on the New Hampshire entry, and as other sources such as the birthplace of some of the King family is Massachusetts, I will presume that the Helps family were from the Massachusetts side of the border unless I find some proof otherwise
