Samuel Haycock age 12 and Benjamin age 10 arrived in Canada on the Parisian 19 Jun 1881. They were part of a Middlemore Homes party.

How lovely that the brothers were able to be connected with a sister who would have been so young when they left home.

Thank you all.
Yes, it was the 4 youngest of the family's children who all became Middlemore children all being sent out to Ontario. They also had a cousin who was sent from Birmingham to Nova Scotia too.
I have been able to follow the 3 boys learning all about their lives but Bessie remained elusive following her marriage & other than her marriage entry i only know of her grave.
As you have pointed out,  she was likely too old to have had children upon marrying.
I have not been able to track down an email address for Mayhew Mount Pleasant Cemetery to seek out any possible info & think that I might perhaps try to seek out newspaper obituaries for Bessie & her husband which might tell me more.
Once again, many thanks for your very kind help.

Unfortunatey the Chatham/Kent library would charge for research - The fee for this service is $45.00 per hour, with a minimum charge of $12.00. An additional $1.00 for postage and $0.25 per page for printouts also applies (rather expensive)

They do have Chatham and Limited Kent County newspapers (1841-present) which are indexed to 2000 by surname and subject - so perhaps if you gave dates - some kind person might look them up and not charge  :-\  Worth asking -

Did you get Benjamin's obituary?  I wonder if it would mention anything about Bessie?

The Huntsville Library will likely have the obit.  There is something about him in the Huntsville Forester, 4 Oct 1945 page 1.   Also 3 Oct 1946, page 5 (maybe a memorial?)
