Obit for the son in 2009...names a grandson and his location.

Using the telephone directory at the link below will give you probable contact info for the grandson. Put just last name in the who section and location in the where section.

I was curious about the news items posted by RunKitty in reply #17, so here are the direct links:

http://www.communitydigitalarchives.com/huntsville-forester/1945-10-04/1/newspapers.html#

http://www.communitydigitalarchives.com/huntsville-forester/1946-10-03/4/newspapers.html#

The second link, (1946) I could not find Haycock, but there was a snippet on a Haycroft, so possibly the search engine was being lenient (or I just missed seeing the right thing!).

Yes, I do have Benjamin's obituary which mentions that he left behind to mourn a wife & 3 brothers naming his 2 brothers who had gone out to Canada as Middlemore children along with brother William in Birmingham, England. This was interesting as William was the only one of the older siblings who didn't become a  Middlemore child who was then still alive suggesting that do fact with Birmingham family had been kept up to know this fact.
Bessie was still alive when Benjamin passed away but she was not mentioned at all.

Thanks for the direct links bbart:).  The 1946 one is on page 5 - there are 2 memorials, one from daughter E and the other from Benjamin's wife.  Unfortunately, Bessie isn't mentioned anywhere.

Treefan, do you have obits for the other brothers as well??

I have contacted the local library to ask for a search for the obituary for brother John but haven't done any work into getting Samuel's as yet. I only made the request yesterday so will likely have to wait a while yet for the reply.
