If you think they may be nephews can you tell us John's sisters' names [if any] & his wife's maiden name & sisters?

Sorry for the delay.
John, I know nothing other than he was "of Irish parentage" and that he died suddenly on 7 July 1846 aged 52.
His wife was Grace Torrance, whose sisters were:
Ann Torrance (b. 1792 Scotland, d. 1869 Scotland)
Mary Hamilton Torrance (b. 1796 Scotland, d.1882 London)
Janet Torrance (b.1803 Scotland, d. 1892 New Zealand)
Margaret Torrance (b.1805 Scotland, d.1842. Married William Fraser)

That information about his wife's family comes from their daughter, who didn't mention any other marriages apart from the the Fraser lad
