Perhaps there was a separation early on but surely they are together around 1920?  The 1918/1919/1920 electoral registers have Walter Thomas, Caroline, Albert J, and Thomas Frank at 50 Scovell Road, Southwark (Albert is an absent voter in 1919).  Note that the name is spelt PENNY.

Thanks Debra. Your help is much appreciated. My great grandmother died in Launceston in 1941. She was by herself so I think the separation was after 1920 but can’t be sure. I’ll check the records I have again given this new information. She’s always been a bit of a mystery as many ancestors are 🤦‍♀️
