James K Kneeland born c1858 in Ireland
« on: Tuesday 18 June 19 01:00 BST (UK) »
Hi

Looking for the birth of this man who emigrated to Massachusetts in 1880. His wedding details in 1892 show his parents were John Neiland & Honora Moy... full name not shown. He married an Elvie Shattuck in 1892 in Springfield Massachusetts. There is a passport application, but i dont have ave access with my Ancestry subscription, but I am sure that would show his place of birth. All the Us Census records just show Ireland. Any help would be much appreciated.

Regards

David Taylor

http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Limerick/Kildimo/Kildimo/1512342/  is the only POSSIBLE on Census which might or might not be the father John.

https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0876  Kildimo IF they were R.C. MIGHT be worth trying unless Passport application proves his whereabouts elsewhere!

Nealon families in next 2 houses. 3 Nealon families there in 1911. Centenarian granny didn't make it to 1911.
