The confirmation we were on the right track came from the obituary info for Michael Kneeland posted by RJ

The 1920 census Fairbanks Street Worcester Ward 6, Worcester, Massachusetts.

Info to discount the above marriage of Mary J Kneeland to Michael Cronan ..................

Drat it looks like there are two John and Hanora Nealand (in this instance) - 1865 census - Auburn, Worcester, Massachusetts - which matches the marriage record for Mary above but not the correct siblings.
