... wants to buy it over a term of years. If William Lombe dies before it is paid off, then the property should be sold, and Joan/Joanna and Thomasina Caus (daughters of Richard Caus and Elizabeth, my daughter) should each have 40 marks for their marriage portion. If either dies before marrying, the other to inherit it. If they both die before marrying, my executors to distribute the 80 marks for the good of my soul and of others’ souls.
My manor in Ilketshall called Strattons, and other properties in Ilketshall, Beccles, Kingsfield, Ellingham, Redisham and Weston, to Joan/Joanna my wife and her heirs for ever.
My other lands and tenements in Westhale to Joan/Joanna my wife, in fee simple.
Witnesses – Thomas Payn of Brampton, Stephen Lynde[?] of Beccles, Thomas Lea[?] of Westhale, Master Thomas Goche, perpetual vicar of Westhale.

(No probate clause?)

Proved at Westhale, 26 May '74, administration to the named executors, who were sworn. Reserved, etc.

In the list of places, between Kingsfield and Ellingham, is one more:  helgh?

The witheld tenement called Chev(er)ijs reappears here amongst the lands given to his wife in fee simple.

I agree with lynde but would lean towards lece or luce for the next witness's surname.
