D B Boxell Born c1920's
« on: Wednesday 19 June 19 20:53 BST (UK) »
Hello there,

I am trying to find the above lady or any children she may have had.

D's birth was registered in Hendon 1920's.

In 1950 she married somebody by the name of Frederick W N

After that the trail seems to go cold for me although there is a D B N on electoral registers between 2002-2014 in Peacehaven Sussex

Would anyone know any more?

Thanks in advance

KPB

One of RootsChat's rules is that we do not name any living, or potentially living, people.

I checked the GRO death index today for 2014

There is this entry

Doreen Betty Newman, dob: 09/01/1926, East Sussex 4621D, entry: 511018616, month of registration

There is also a match for this person on the 1939 register in Wembley under her married surname but her maiden named is spelt incorrectly on the search results probably because the image is obscured by sticky tape.

The only way to know for sure is to purchase the birth cert so you get an accurate date and a death certificate to see if the information you have matches. There maybe the bonus of a family member being the informant on the death cert.

Thank you for this

Would you mind sending me the link to the GRO 2014 list please?

When you refer to maiden name on the 1939 report can I assume it is a corruption of Boxell

Thanks again

Hi Kevin

The death index for 2014 is not online, I have taken the registration details from the microfiche at the British Library.

You have all the details in my post to be able to order the death cert from www.gro.gov.uk

The surname is displayed as Newman (Bacell)
