The H/1/150 B is the reference for his entry on page 75 in the Manchester Regiment 1914/1915 Star medal roll and the remainder indicates the medal was returned to the issuing office because of some problem but the medal roll entry (which is on Ancestry here:https://www.ancestry.co.uk/interactive/5119/41804_611411_5971-00167?pid=1937792&backurl=https://search.ancestry.co.uk/cgi-bin/sse.dll?indiv%3D1%26dbid%3D5119%26h%3D1937792%26tid%3D%26pid%3D%26usePUB%3Dtrue%26_phsrc%3DMvA5420%26_phstart%3DsuccessSource&treeid=&personid=&hintid=&usePUB=true&_phsrc=MvA5420&_phstart=successSource&usePUBJs=true&_ga=2.211100950.2060370149.1560102898-1555101898.1539262208
appears to indicate it was returned (to him/the family) in 1924.

The medal card/roll also show he went to France on 10 Nov 1915 and the other medal roll for the other two medals show he was first with 21st Battalion Manchesters and later with 22nd Battalion.
