Names of Witnesses

Hi, I wonder if anyone would be able to help me with the names of the witnesses on the attached record. All have the forename John and I could make out the second one was Downie but have tried to figure out the other surnames with no luck. Thanking you.

I think the first is Fergusson.

Not sure of third -  - Rophorel or something like it??

Not sure of fourth either, but I think it begins with J  -  inot

I thought the first one was furguson or Murguson. The third  and forth have me stumped. 3rd - Ropho/a/ril. 4th J/F u or i - nod. I couldn't find any names like these on SP as used this to try and get a similarity. The darkened image is much better but Still guessing.

The first is spelt:  fferguson

I agree with downie.

The third is Ropkarel or Ropkorel, or possibly the same two names but beginning with a K.  I would need other examples of R/K to be sure.

The last is a bit of a judgement call.

I think it is most likely to be Innes (with the J read as an I).

It could also be something like Junes or Jivies but I doubt it.

Thank you so much. The third is a bit of a conundrum but I agree with it beginning with either R or K. Innes looks like it may be right. I had trouble finding short surnames beginning with J no matter how I spelled it. I'm thankful you all had some trouble with the names as now I don't feel so much of a fool.
