I searched the British Newspaper Archives (which contain many Irish newspapers) but did not find any mention of the death either.

Northern Whig 8th October 1925 has the following Death announcement:
POTTER-October 5th, 1925, at the Royal Victoria Hospital (result of an accident), Sarah, wife of the late Hugh Potter . Her remains will be removed from her residence , 108 , Woodstock Road , to-day (Thursday) , at 3pm , for interment in Dundonald Churchyard .

We can assume this is Hugh Potters Mother .
Belfast Cemetary Records hold no such record for Sarah being interred in Dundonald "Cemetary".

If Dundonald "Churchyard" is a seperate place to the Cemetary then i'd favour the chances of her son being in the same grave as her. If not then there is records missing ?

"Churchyard" is a burial ground attached to, or formerly attached to, a church not a public cemetery. My first guess would be Church of Ireland (Presbyterian ones usually called Burying ground).

POTTER - In affectionate remembrance, of Hugh Potter, who passed away on 2nd July, 1918, and was interred in Dundonald Churchyard. - For ever with the Lord.

Hi Gaffy.  He is certainly buried at St Elizabeth's . His mother is buried in Grave 561; he is probably in the same grave but I don't have any firm evidence to that effect.
