What can you tell me about this Jones photograph?

This photo of a young girl was in my great aunt's belongings and I know nothing about it.

Somebody suggested it might be a confirmation photo.  All I know is that it was almost certainly taken in east London.

Can anyone suggest a date and what she might be holding?

It could be a confirmation certificate that she is holding...1915 -1920 give or take a year. She looks to be about 9 or 10 years old.

Also it is a studio photograph as you can see by the photographer's backdrop and fake branches are a studio prop. maybe a his res scan of just the document she is holding may lead to a clue, I thought looked like it may have a cross on the front but hard to say for sure.

I wonder if there's a database of photographers' backdrops?  It would help me possibly place the place it was taken.

I'm not aware of one, I doubt that it would help as photographers often travelled to different locations with their equipment and often operated from more than one studio. I take it that this is a postcard with nothing on the back.
