Hi Freya,

Try your local Library -- do they have "Pioneer Index, 1836 -1899" available, plus Edwardian Index 1901-1910.    They are on CDs.  These are a great help.   The same information may be on Ancestry.com.au

There was at least one other sibling of this William CAMPBELL in the district.
You have mentioned Margeret, but here is  the death of James.

James CAMPBELL
Age 79
At Lismore, Victoria
Father's name Campbell Owen
Mother's name Susana Johnstone
1917 /9191

Here is William

Wm CAMPBELL
Age 79
At Lismore, Victoria
Father's name    Owen Campbell
Mother's name Susana Johnstone
1926/ 4480

 The family were at Tooliorook

If you use the trove newspaper search you will find land (edit) purchases at Tooliorook in the family names including Susan senior. https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/
